We are currently recruiting for a Switchboard Operator to take full responsibility for managing all incoming phone traffic at the hotel switchboard. You will need to be personable and positive as well as highly organised.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To answer all incoming calls professionally
  • To direct all calls to the correct destination within the hotel
  • To log messages for guests into the guest link system
  • To log the number of calls received through switchboard during your shift
  • To use the radio as and when required
  • To make and amend restaurant bookings
  • To monitor the main hotel email inbox and action incoming mails
  • To record all guest request using the systems made available to you
  • To assist with preparing group arrivals
  • To assist with admin tasks relating to the Front of House Department
