The Role

Are you a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Manager wanting to grow your career?  With the assistance of our inhouse training at The Academy, and our dedicated careerpathways, our Assistant Director of Sales role will allow you to develop to Director of Sales level within 2 years - a fantastic opportunity!

The primary focus of the role of the Assistant Director of Sales is to work alongside the Key Account Director to drive incremental revenue into the assigned hotels in line with budget and future strategy. With a focus on delivering new lucrative business opportunities that drive revenue and rate, and to build effective relationships with existing accounts to drive volume. The role will focus on revenue growth of corporate, M&E and group business segments from a combination of new, existing and agency relationships, across all hotels within the glh portfolio.

The secondary focus of the role will be to lead the cluster sales manager with a focus on measurement and guidance of this individual to ensure they are driving the right business into the right hotels. The key measures will be the delivery of financial targets that contribute to the balanced score card for the hotels. With over 5000 bedrooms in London, this individual also needs to be identifying opportunities across the whole group of hotels, ensuring a cross selling mentality is adopted across all relevant departments and areas of responsibility.
