The Grosvenor Hotel, Victoria is a very popular city centre venue close to many of London's famous landmarks and on the periphery of the busiest train station in Europe. This 345 bedroom hotel has recently undergone a £20m transformation and is a luxury 4 star deluxe hotel.

The Role

We are a unique destination for dining, drinking and entertainment. We combine a relaxed attitude driven by the style of the Parisian influenced building we sit in with innovative signature dishes and drinks which take taste to the next level. Music is an essential part of our business. We will be hosting DJ’s nights from Thursday - Saturday and live music entertainment once a week.

We are currently looking for Host/Hostess to join our beautiful venue

As a Host/Hostess you will provide the first impression to our guests and therefore it is imperative that you help our guest to get the most out of their dining experience. You will provide a courteous and efficient service taking care of guests when they arrive and ensure that they are welcomed in a professional manner with etiquette and sophistication. A host/hostess should be smart, enthusiastic and polite at all times

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / MAIN DUTIES
• To be the first point of contact to our guests and welcome them to the restaurant.
• To provide efficient and outstanding standards of service to all customers at all times.
• To demonstrate a pro-active approach in carrying out day-to-day duties and problem-solving.
• To ensure that the restaurant remains a first choice destination.
• Operates all booking platforms
• Welcomes and greets guests
• Ensures efficient placement and allocation
• Manage special occasions/ requests with Bar/ Rest
• Communicates with guests in professional manner through telephone and writing
