Our Support Office a modern office located close to Old Street and Barbican in central London. This friendly open plan office houses several of the key support functions including Sales, Human Resources, Marketing and Central Revenue. Conveniently located with great transport links the office is the London base for the back office functions of Guoman and Thistle.

THE ROLE

The Head of Recruitment is leading resourcing and attracting the best talent to glh Hotels with key focus at:

Cost effective and timely recruitment of high calibre external candidates.
Developing the glh recruitment brand so we are seen internally and externally as an employer of choice.
Working with the HR team on succession planning to identify internal talent and understand the gaps to be filled externally.
The Head of Recruitment reports to HR Director and works closely with HR team and Operations, and responsible for:

Dashboard of recruitment metrics and ensure they deliver what the business requires.
Recruitment platforms are used effectively and are kept up to date and relevant.
Review effectiveness of the ATS and look for greater efficiency and a standout candidate experience.
Recruitment materials that enhance the glh brand.
Recruiting managers are trained to a high standard.
Recruitment for senior positions and specialists in Support Functions (e.g. Marketing, Finance, Legal)

Head of Recruitment also takes responsibility for leading Recruitment Coordinator (or the team if required).

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Minimum 3 years experience in in-house recruitment with full recruitment cycle is required
2 years experience in equivalent role is a must
Experience in hospitality, leisure & tourism or retail sectors is desirable
Ability to recruit effectively using a variety of different direct hire methods
Cost conscious and knows how to spend money to the best effect
Knows how to manage all aspects of the recruitment life cycle
Skilled in networking and brand building
Articulate and credible with both senior managers and external candidates.
Naturally curious and always looking externally for best practice ideas and opportunities
Good written and numerical skills
Excellent communication skills
Fluent English language both verbal and written
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

What we look for
