The Role

Thistle Hotels are all about warm, straightforward service in a comfortable relaxed setting and we are looking for exceptional managers to deliver the highest standards of service in our restaurants and bars. If you have supervisory or management experience in a high volume service environment and can inspire a team we may have the role for you.

As Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for managing the restaurant operations and delivering an excellent guest experience. You will also need to manage, train and develop your team members within budgets. You main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Overall responsibility for operations in the Restaurant and Bar
  • Exceptional levels of customer service
  • Recruitment, training and development of the team
  • Dealing with guest queries
  • Working within budget constraints for food and payroll
  • Drive sales to maximise revenue
  • Accountability for stock takes
  • Set departmental targets and objectives
  • Evaluate performance to drive continuous improvement
