The Role
The role of the Hotel Sales Executive will be to support the Director of Sales to drive incremental revenue into their base hotel, with a constant eye on referral opportunities.
The Sales Executive role will have the responsibility for sourcing new leads for conversion into lucrative accounts and will also be responsible for managing a small portfolio of local accounts with a view to driving volume and incremental spend through M&E and F&B opportunities
Key aspects of the role:
The sourcing of new leads via various means to support the business objectives of the hotel
Support the Regional Director of Sales to deliver incremental revenue into the targeted market segments
Consistently deliver on agreed weekly target activities and demonstrate results from the activity
Work with the existing local client base to identify other revenue opportunities, i.e. M&E
Support the F&B team by driving Christmas party bookings through our existing and new client base
To identify innovative ways to drive new sales leads with a structured follow up plan
Understand competitors business through site visits and Hotelligence reporting and utilise this information to drive sales activities
Utilise salesforce.com to enrich client specific data to build a deep understanding of the accounts, the opportunities that exist and to share key information with the hotels
To completely understand the brand you are working within and feel confident presenting to internal and external customers
Support the central sales team at trade shows, familiarisation trips and events
Passionate about learning and developing your own skills and understanding of the industry
Expectation of developing opportunities for other hotels within the group
